Front porch
01/18/2010We were contracted to replace a wooden front stoop on a 6 unit apartment building built in 1926. The original stoop had rotten supports and was becoming a liability to the owners. The original curved top no longer fit with the building as the upper levels had been reowrked and made square. We curverd the edges of the roof to match with the curves in the top of the oak wood doors.
Facia/soffit upgrade 1
01/18/2010We repaired the wood facia and replicated the rotten "dental work" trim detail on the lower porch. We also replaced all rotten wood on the upper level, then clad it in aluminum to reduce the maintenance needed on this great example of an Old South London home.
Facia/soffit upgrade 2
01/18/2010We replaced all the existing first floor windows, rebuilt the two chimneys that were cracked and causing leaks into the attic and living spaces of the home. The house was given a face lift with new facia and soffits. The kitchen window box allowed extreme air infiltration and casued the plumbing pipes to freeze every winter. Spray-in polyurethane foam solved both of these issues.
Stone patio
01/18/2010We were contracted to remove and replace an old red brick patio that was too small and deteriorated. We replaced it with retaining walls and a paving stone patio. We constructed wood steps to replace the old stairs.
Wood deck 1
01/18/2010We reconstructed a deck that was in a state of disrepair, and no longer suited the uses it was put.
Wood deck 2
01/18/2010We were contracted to rebuild a severely rotted deck. The new deck had to match existing decks around the property.
Fence 1
01/18/2010The home owner wanted 2 feet of lattice added on top of and existing fence while keeping the the feel of the wood topped fence posts. We added a 14 foot by 8 foot fenced area for a meditation garden.
